Senior Site Planner

Main purpose of position
Currently we are looking for an Senior Site Planner in Al Minya , Egypt to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As a Senior Site Planner, you will be responsible for monitoring site activities and supporting projects in alignment with all core processes, procedures, templates, and tools as defined within Scatec.
Main responsibilities
• Follow guidelines and prescribed structures as outlined by the Operating System
• Provide continuous input towards improvement and optimization of the Operating System
• Assist Lead Project Planner to compile the Overall Master Project Programme (schedule) integrating the standard Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and baseline preparation.
• Review the contractors’ Planning Package: Baseline, Programme Basis Memorandum, Manpower and Machinery histograms and S-Curve.
• Coordinate Project Planners in the project to adhere to Scatec’s planning best practices.
• Follow up the submission of contractors’ reports.
• Prepare graphical and numerical Construction Daily Report.
• Coordinate schedule from multiple contractors and incorporate the information gathered into the Overall Master Project Programme.
• Prepare / update the construction KPI dashboard.
• Understand contractual matter, identify critical milestones and notifications.
• Track and monitor all site activities on a daily basis and highlighting any deviations.
• Communicate with the team members about activities to be performed during the coming week and issue site look-aheads as needed.
• Analyze gaps between planned and actual progress.
• Report project progress
Qualifications and competencies
• Education: Formal Technical Qualification (Engineering, Construction, Project Management).
• Experience: 6+ years of project planning and scheduling experience in an EPC organization.
• Language: fluent English both written and spoken (and other languages if needed or ideal).
• Planning Tools Knowledge: Primavera, MS Projects, MS Office.
Ideal:
• Experience leading people.
• Experience in MEGA / Large scale EPC projects.
• Experience with civil construction projects.
• Experience with renewables projects
• Experience with construction of high voltage networks and sub-stations
