ICTJ is searching for a Development Operations Manager to join its Development team.
DEVELOPMENT OPERATIONS MANAGER
The Development Operations Manager will work to strengthen the infrastructure behind ICTJ’s fundraising efforts. This role ensures the development team operates efficiently across geographies while maintaining strong data integrity, compliance with donor requirements, and coordination across teams. The role supports government and grant fundraising as well individual giving and event fundraising by building systems for donor engagement, moves management, and stewardship. The successful candidate must be highly organized and systems-oriented.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage CRM and data systems: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of donor data
- Support institutional funding workflows: Track proposals, deadlines, reporting requirements, and compliance for government and foundation donors
- Drive reporting and analytics: Produce dashboards and reports to track fundraising performance, pipeline, and donor engagement
- Support individual giving & moves management within 2 portfolios, track donor interactions, and support cultivation and stewardship strategies
- Support annual benefit event by managing guest lists, tracking, and follow-up for fundraising events and donor engagement activities
- Coordinate across teams: Support alignment of development, finance, and program staff on proposal development, donor reporting, and engagement strategies
- Strengthen processes: Build and streamline systems, templates, and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
- Ensure compliance: Maintain audit-ready documentation and adherence to donor regulations
Perform other development-related duties and undertake projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in development operations and database management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience supporting both institutional fundraising (governments, foundations) and individual giving programs
- Fluent understanding of nonprofit CRMs for fundraising and donor relationships including data migration
- Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge is required.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively across a geographically dispersed team
PREFERRED:
- Experience in international NGOs or global organizations
- Familiarity with government donor compliance and reporting requirements
- Experience supporting donor events and moves management systems
- Experience integrating development and financial systems

- Salary range: $75K-$85K annually (commensurate with experience)

This position works on a hybrid schedule and is based in New York City; candidates must have legal authorization to work in the USA.
