Principal Research and Evaluation Officer
Help us develop, understand and embed evidence-informed improvements in the response to child sexual abuse as our new Principal Research and Evaluation Officer.
We are looking for an experienced researcher or evaluator who is confident in designing, delivering and managing research and evaluation projects. We are keen to hear from applicants with strong quantitative experience, including work with large datasets or administrative data, and skills in statistical analysis, data linkage, advanced modelling or applied quantitative evaluation.
We welcome applications from research and evaluation specialists working in the field of child sexual abuse, as well as those with evaluation experience in closely related fields such as violence against women and girls, violence against children or sexual violence, where your skills and expertise can readily transfer to this role. You will have demonstrable expertise in applying analytical methods and tools for gathering data and interpreting evidence, and manging multiple impact and evaluation projects simultaneously, ensuring effective planning, prioritisation and timely delivery.
This is important work – the CSA Centre conservatively estimates that one in ten children will experience some form of child sexual abuse before age of 16, and our ambitious programme seeks to improve the knowledge, skills and confidence of professionals (social workers, teachers, police officers, health professionals, and more) in identifying and responding to child sexual abuse. We have already made great progress, but there is much more to be done and we need your help!
