The PUI Operations Department, organized into Geographic Hubs, mobilizes multidisciplinary teams in support of field teams.
And what about the Program Data Management (PDM) Officer in all of this?
As a Programme Data Management (PDM) Officer under the supervision of the MEAL and PDM Officer, you will contribute to the organization's overall Programme Data Management strategy and ensure responsible and high-quality management of programme data while structuring the different stages of the Programme Data Management cycle.
For this purpose, your responsibilities will be as follows:
• Contribute to the definition, implementation and regular updating of the Programme Data Management (PDM) strategy at the institutional level – exploration of existing programme software solutions and definition of an institutional positioning, development of procedure documents and tools on the data cycle, development of training modules etc.
• Organize data collection for the Program and harmonize datasets at the institutional level – harmonize collection methodologies, sampling, basic database modeling and link them to solutions for analyzing and storing this data…
• Contribute to structuring data quality in order to improve program quality – provide ad hoc technical support to missions, structure the process of preparing, cleaning, triangulating and validating program data…
• Support the provision of data visualization and analysis products for decision-making purposes – structure the processes of statistical and interpretive analysis and data visualization on missions and participate in advancements in data visualization products at headquarters
• Contributing to ensuring responsible management of data on vulnerable populations – structuring a package of tools and procedural documents to better protect program data
The challenges that await you:
Structuring the program data register for all intervention sectors; providing ad hoc support to missions on topics related to Program Data Management; analyzing ongoing mission pilot projects on certain software (DHIS2, Activity Info, Commcare...)
What you will need to succeed
• Education : You can demonstrate a higher education degree (min. Master 2 or equivalent) in international law, social sciences, international relations or a related discipline.
• Experience: You have relevant experience at the headquarters of an NGO or at least 3 years of field experience with an international NGO, in program management and/or MEAL. You have experience in MEAL/Program Data Management roles in the field or at headquarters. Have you previously worked with Première Urgence Internationale? That would be a definite asset!
• Skills : You have a solid understanding of humanitarian program software solutions for data collection (Kobo, Commcare, Survey CTO, etc.), analysis/visualization (Power BI, Stata, NVivo, ActivityInfo, etc.), program implementation (Red Rose, DHIS2, etc.), or mapping (QGIS, ArcGIS, etc.). You are familiar with donor requirements and expectations, particularly those of ECHO, the EU, AFD, CDCS, UN agencies, and BHA. Do you have excellent writing skills and a good knowledge of databases? This position is for you!
• Required qualities : You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, and enjoy working in a team. You have a strong capacity for proposing solutions, innovation, and adapting to changing environments. You possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills. You are diplomatic.
• Languages : Do you speak fluent French and English? This is essential for this position! Spanish is an asset.

PUI will offer you
• Status: Executive
• Salary: €3,300 gross per month over 12 months, depending on experience
• Medical coverage: 100% of the health and personal protection insurance
• Coverage: Coverage of 50% of the transport ticket and 60% of Restaurant Vouchers (with a face value of €10)
• Rest : 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT day per month (37 hours/week)
• A flexible teleworking policy , based on three modalities.
