Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened: mainly in cases of armed conflict, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or exclusion from care.

The payroll manager participates in monthly payroll processing and the preparation of the social report for MSF Association and the Foundation. They provide technical support to HR managers and contribute to the processing, verification, and validation of payroll data.

Missions

Reporting to the Payroll Manager :

• As part of the monthly payroll work, the manager ensures all the operations necessary for the production and reliability of the payroll.
• He/she performs monthly payroll tasks, provides technical support to HR Managers for complex situations and actively participates in payroll control.
• He/she checks payroll journals and final account balances every month, processes DSN reports and any corrections, and manages third-party notices.
• The manager edits the accounting files, identifying any anomalies and proposing appropriate corrective actions.
• He/she prepares requests and management reports and responds to various internal or external requests and inquiries.
In collaboration with the Payroll Manager

• Management of automatic step increases based on acquired seniority
• Participation in the processing of negative RTT (Reduced Working Time) balances
• Participate in the implementation of the event-driven DSN process (end of contract)
• Coordinate the implementation of social changes and DSN (Social Security Declaration) in the payroll tool in compliance with legislation and regulations
• Withholding tax: control of specific cases (fixed-term contracts – 2 months, daily sickness benefits, non-residents, etc.); establishment of management procedures
• Participate in modifying the methods for saving vacation days and RTT days on the time savings account
• Participation in the year-end closing activities
Participate in the preparation of the social report

• Extract data from the payroll software
• Process them using Excel's advanced functions
• Transform them into paintings
• Participate in the analysis of the figures
• Participate in the review of the balance sheet
• Participate in the year-end closing activities

Profile

Experience :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Payroll Manager role
• Experience with at least one annual payroll closing
• Having contributed to the development of a social report while mastering the processes related to the DSN (French social security declaration)
SKILLS :

• Good knowledge of Workday
• Proficiency in using computer tools
• Solid understanding of technical and regulatory developments in payroll.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced functions, is essential.
• Basic knowledge of labor law.

Languages:

French level C1 - English level B2
Status and conditions:

Status: Fixed-term contract of 6 months, full-time. Position equivalent to management, based in Paris. Teleworking according to MSF's rules (2 days/week).

Conditions: €44,500 gross annual salary over 13 months. 22 days of paid time off per year. Supplementary health insurance fully covered by Doctors Without Borders. Meal vouchers with a face value of €12 (60% covered by Doctors Without Borders). 50% reimbursement of public transport pass (weekly, monthly, or annual).

Attention: due to administrative constraints related to the duration of the contract, candidates must already have a work permit in France (citizen of the European Union) or a residence permit allowing them to work on French soil.
