Job Purpose;
• To ensure accuracy and compliance of all accounting functions in line with applicable accounting standards.
• To ensure preparation of VAT related documents in line with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist to prepare monthly financial statement.
• Prepare and verify all vouchers related to cash receipts and payments, maintain general and subsidiary ledgers in accordance with prevailing financial rules and regulations.
• Review, check and authorize client invoices, bills, vouchers and requisitions prior to payment processing.
• Conduct monthly & yearly inventory verification, monitor accounting activities regularly, and maintain the store ledger.
• Record purchase requisitions, handle LC-related documentation and prepare Treasury Challans, AIT statements, and product costing reports.
• Calculate and prepare sales incentives, staff income tax, and deduction of VAT & AIT at source as per government regulations.
• Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliation statements based on bank records.
• Provide financial information and accounting support to concerned stakeholders, particularly regarding budget status and expenditures.
• Manage bank withdrawals for daily operational needs and maintain manual records such as cash book, cash certificates and IOU statements.
• Prepare VAT-related documents, including: Price Declarations (Mushak-4.3), Daily Purchase Register (Mushak-6.1), Sales Register (Mushak-6.2), Sales Invoices/Challans (Mushak-6.3), Credit Notes (Mushak-6.7) for returned goods.
• Prepare VAT rebate reconciliation for utilities and services (electricity, gas, insurance, T&T, C&F, L/C, etc.).
• Support VAT audits conducted by NBR, AG, and other regulatory authorities. Maintain liaison with government VAT regulatory bodies.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Educational Requirements:
The candidate should have B.Com/M.Com/BBA/MBA in Accounting with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations from any recognized institution. (Age, Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential candidate)
