The Government of El Salvador has received financing from the World Bank (Loan No. 9602-SV) for the El Salvador Transport and Resilient Infrastructure Project (P178720). The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT) invites individual consultants to submit proposals for the individual consulting services of "Tesorero para la Unidad Ejecutora del Proyecto de Transporte e Infraestructura Resiliente de El Salvador" (Treasurer for the Project Implementation Unit). The terms of reference are provided in Annex 1 of the invitation (Invitación a presentar Propuesta, CI-28/2026, ref. SV-MOPT-568681-CS-INDV). Selection method: Individual Consultant Selection, Request for Expression of Interest, notice published 8 October 2026. Individual consultants from all countries are eligible; consultants sanctioned by the World Bank and Borrower-country government officials (except under specified exceptions) are not eligible. Consultants must provide objective, impartial professional advice and disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest. Proposals must remain valid for at least 90 calendar days from the submission date. Award of the contract is subject to satisfactory negotiations. Services are expected to begin in November 2026 at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport in San Salvador. The notice is in Spanish.

HOW TO APPLY:
Submit the consultant's curriculum vitae together with a proposal including Annex 2 (with annexes A and B) and Annex 3 (with annexes A and B). The hard copy must be delivered in a sealed envelope, marked on the cover with the name of the consultancy, by 3:30 p.m. (El Salvador time) on 26 October 2026, with a digital copy sent to ucp.bypassapopa@mop.gob.sv, using the forms in Annex 2.
