Save the Children International is seeking a PRIME System Advisor on a 6-month fixed-term contract to join its global Programme Operations team. PRIME (Project Reporting, Information Management, and Evidence) is Save the Children's core business system for managing programmatic projects, including end-to-end project management, monitoring and evaluation tools, and business intelligence tools.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of PRIME enhancements, including business analysis to define, test and document functionality
- Provide second-line business and technical support to PRIME end users, working with third-line teams on complex issues
- Facilitate deployment of enhancements and the roll-out of PRIME to new offices, including SCI Members, completing Change Impact Assessments and deployment materials
- Develop guidance and training materials and deliver training to end users
- Design and develop reports that support continuous improvement and informed decision-making
- Improve PRIME uptake and data quality by building relationships with PRIME champions, gathering feedback and auditing data
- Act as Project Record Manager for PRIME during fast-onset humanitarian responses until the project is established
Requirements:
- Understanding of the NGO context and core concepts of programmatic delivery
- Demonstrable understanding of project management in developmental or humanitarian contexts at operational level
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, analyse and prioritise system enhancements
- Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, partners and the global network of PRIME Champions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to negotiate with senior staff
- Ability to manage a varied workload under pressure
- Desirable: experience in systems development and support, training design and delivery, and fluency in French, Spanish and/or Arabic
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analysis or a related field preferred but not mandatory; certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA or ITIL are desirable
Work pattern: hybrid/remote with flexible options, based in any approved Save the Children International office location. The successful candidate must have the right to work in the country of the role.
