Program Manager, LHA and MIHR (Global Health)
Corus International is seeking a Program Manager, LHA and MIHR to join the MOMENTUM team in its Washington, DC headquarters (hybrid, in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays). The Program Manager provides programmatic backstopping and program management across multiple countries and serves as the primary point of contact for the Mali country team on the USG-funded Lifesaving Health Assistance (LHA) Program, and may also support the Momentum Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR) project, including Ebola response programming. LHA sustains and transitions lifesaving maternal, newborn, and child health, HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, nutrition, and global health security programming in the DRC, Ethiopia, Mali, and South Sudan; MIHR improves MNCH and nutrition outcomes in fragile and conflict-affected settings across ten countries.
Responsibilities: Establish and manage project cycle best practices and ensure compliance with project management policies and donor requirements; manage project startup, including handover, stakeholder convening and staff recruitment; monitor country-level implementation against targets and deliverables, identify risks, and serve as primary contact for prime and subaward agreements; oversee grant funds, review budget variances, financial reports and expenditures with Finance and Grants and Compliance teams; coordinate consortium partners, implementing partners and subawardees; lead preparation of technical and programmatic reports (bi-weekly, quarterly, semiannual), manage donor communications, and maintain project documentation in Smartsheets and SharePoint; contribute to country-specific proposals and new business opportunities.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience managing international development and/or global health programs; experience in multicultural, multilingual environments and with US-based and international partners; strong working knowledge of USG and other donor funding mechanisms; excellent communication skills in English and French; ability to travel to Mali and other LHA/MIHR countries; proficiency in Office 365 (Salesforce a plus); authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred: experience in fragile contexts, large multi-country programs, and living or working in developing countries.
Salary range: $71,000 - $114,000 (target hiring range between minimum and midpoint). Regular full-time. Position is funded through a specific project and subject to continued funding availability.
