WWF-Bhutan is seeking a Program Associate (Private and Corporate Sector Engagement) to provide operational support, execution and coordination across the office's private sector engagement, corporate donor relations, stewardship and communications portfolios. The role ensures corporate and private donor commitments are translated into concrete action plans, measurable conservation outcomes and sustained stakeholder engagement.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Private sector and corporate engagement (primary focus): support the management and execution of formal corporate partnership agreements, including engagement with business entities in Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC); steward relationships with private donors and corporate partners; prepare fundraising assets, pitch decks and donor stewardship materials; assist with preliminary Environmental and Social (ES) risk assessments and implementation of the Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework (ESSF).
  • Communications and brand management: support social media scheduling, content creation and baseline analytics; format and lay out products such as the Panda Quarterly Newsletter and the WWF-Bhutan calendar using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva; maintain institutional archives; prepare digital and print collateral in line with WWF branding guidelines.
  • Environmental education and youth engagement: provide logistics for the Panda Explore: WWF-Bhutan Learning Centre, support volunteer and citizen-science activities, and support experiential learning activities.
  • Event coordination and logistics: support workshops, seminars and exhibitions, administer travel and field logistics, and prepare post-event documentation and financial settlements.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, environmental science, environmental education or a related field.
  • 4 years of relevant professional experience in communications, program support or environmental education.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and Canva, plus digital communication tools, stakeholder database management and social media analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, communication and event coordination skills; ability to engage corporate executives, youth and local communities.
  • Excellent written and oral English; proficiency in Dzongkha and other national languages is required.
  • Willingness to travel to field offices and project sites; ability to work with minimum supervision.
