Compensation: monthly net base salary of 5,244.00 EUR, plus participation in the ICMPD Provident Fund, health and accident insurance, six weeks' annual leave and, where applicable, dependent's allowance and mobility-related allowances.
This vacancy is for the Migration Partnership Facility (MPF), an EU-funded initiative implemented by ICMPD that supports the external dimension of EU migration policy. The MPF regularly launches Calls for Proposals or directly awards grants to third parties for migration partnership projects.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the coordination and technical oversight, including quality assurance, of MPF grant scheme(s), and for managing grant team(s) under the assigned thematic area (mainly Border Management and Security Cooperation, including the fight against smuggling of migrants and trafficking in human beings). The work must stay aligned with the strategy, goals, regulatory framework, standard administrative practices and operating procedures of ICMPD, and with partner and donor agreements. The Grants Manager reports to the Grants Portfolio Manager.
Required expertise: ability to manage grant schemes and grant teams effectively in an international context; proven capability to promote capacity development measures across the full grant cycle; proven experience in Border Management and Security Cooperation, including the fight against smuggling of migrants and trafficking in human beings; familiarity with grant management (IT) tools. Proficiency in English and French (verbal and written) is required. Proficiency in other EU languages is an asset.
