Job description
WeWorld is looking for an operator to support the job placement paths of people who turn to the Spazio Donna in Milan and young NEET boys and girls, playing a role of connection between the service and local bodies that deal with orientation, vocational training, active labor policies and demand-supply matching.
The resource will have the task of accompanying people in the definition of their professional project, enhancing their skills and potential and facilitating access to the most consistent job opportunities.
The Spazio Donna is a day center for reception, socialization, support and guidance for women in situations of fragility and who often experience situations of violence.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The operator will carry out, under the supervision of the Coordinator of the Women's Space, the following tasks:
·Realization of individual orientation and job accompaniment interviews.
·Support in the drafting, revision and updating of curricula vitae.
·Collection, evaluation and pre-selection of applications
·Identification of the most appropriate job opportunities for the users' profiles.
·Sending applications, monitoring of results and follow-up with the bodies involved.
·Scouting activities and development of relationships with companies, cooperatives and other realities in the area interested in job placement and/or internships for people in vulnerable situations.
·Activation and management of partnerships with accredited employment bodies, employment agencies, companies and local services to promote the matching between supply and demand.
·Accompaniment in the different phases of access to the labor market and monitoring of the paths activated.
·Management of the bureaucratic process, initiation of potential internships
·Constant liaison with the multidisciplinary team of Spazio Donna for the definition and updating of individualized projects.
·Mapping and updating of training and employment opportunities in the Milan area
Requirements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
·Degree in humanities/social sciences
·Knowledge of the main measures, services and actors of the labor market in the Milan area.
·Good knowledge of IT tools and the main job search portals.
·Knowledge of issues related to women's empowerment and the intercultural and intersectional approach.
Professional experience
·At least 2-3 years' experience in the field of orientation and job placement of people in vulnerable conditions
·Experience in working with social services, training providers and employment agencies
Skills and abilities
·High listening skills and empathic relationship
·Ability to build and maintain relationships with local networks and stakeholders.
·Strong interpersonal and involvement/activation skills of individuals and groups
·Aptitude for teamwork, proactivity, dynamism, critical spirit and ability to work by objectives and in compliance with deadlines
·Sensitivity and adaptability to different cultural, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality and age contexts
·Accuracy, reliability and planning skills
·Strong commitment to WeWorld's Mission and sincere interest in international cooperation and development topics
Other information
WHAT WE OFFER
Type of contract: co.co.co/partita VAT
Economic conditions: remuneration starting from € 17.26 gross/hour to be defined according to the experience gained and the type of contract
Availability required: 24 hours per month
