About the Role
Fundraising Data Analyst is a diverse role. They are responsible for supporting the management of Face-to-face, Telemarketing and digital channels, together with F2F &TM and Digital fundraisers. The Fundraising Data Analyst takes the lead in managing and planning the budget & income for these channels as well as monitoring the results and predicting impact on set goals. The role also includes monitoring overall income from all channels, attrition and reporting on this. The Fundraising Data Analyst has a knack for data, is always looking to optimize strategies and find connections others might miss. They create and adapt reports, submit selections used for various campaigns and coordinate with partners and colleagues. The role combines supporting fundraising channel management, financial planning, data analysis, reporting, partner coordination, CRM management and providing design support.
Responsibilities and duties
Fundraising Channel Management (F2F & TM)
• Supporting management and optimization of the Face-to-Face (F2F) and Telemarketing (TM) and Digital fundraising channels in collaboration with the F2F, TM and Digital Fundraisers.
• Monitor channel performance and identify opportunities to improve donor acquisition, conversion, and retention rates.
• Support respective fundraisers in negotiating contracts and coordinate with external agencies and fundraising partners to ensure delivery against agreed targets and quality standards.
• Share and explain reports and data-driven insights with external partners to improve donor quality
• Maintain a good working relationship with external agencies and partners
• Support the budget planning process for Face-to-Face, Telemarketing and Digital fundraising channels and work together with the respective Fundraisers.
• Monitor performance against budgets and recommend corrective actions where needed.
Data Analysis, Reporting & Insights
• Monitor donor acquisition, retention, attrition, and lifetime value metrics.
• Create, maintain, and improve regular fundraising performance reports and dashboards.
• Monitor and report on overall fundraising income across all channels.
• Work closely with channel specialists to improve donor segmentation and to implement data-driven campaign improvements.
• Support the development of a culture of data-driven decision-making across the fundraising team.
• Coordinate with External data partners to ensure continuous testing and data-driven recommendations
CRM Data Management
• Prepare, maintain and deliver audience selections and data extracts for varied fundraising campaigns.
• Implement strategies & changes to comply to GDPR & local rules and regulations
• Act as the primary administrator and key user of the Engage CRM system, ensuring it effectively supports fundraising activities.
• Test updates in new releases and keep the team informed on upcoming updates and changs.
Design support
• Support the team with designs for merchandise, visuals, print media and other outputs.
Cross-organizational Collaboration
• Collaborate with communications, marketing, programs, and fundraising colleagues to align messaging and campaigns.
• Provide advisory and capacity building support for fundraising campaigns in other markets outside the Netherlands.

Technical Skills
CRM systems (Microsoft 365 Engage), Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
Education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Fundraising, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing, fundraising, or data analytics.
• Experience working with fundraising campaigns, donor acquisition, and data analysis.
• Experience managing agencies and other external partners.
• Experience or affinity with dashboarding and/or programming
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Affinity with the mission and values of Hivos.
