Duration and Funding
This is a fixed-term, project-funded position with an initial term of 12 months (through September 2027).
Location
This role is based in Palladium's Addis Ababa, Ethiopia office, with periodic travel within Ethiopia. Applicants must have authorization to work in Ethiopia, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Position Summary
The Evidence and Knowledge Management Specialist supports the generation, management, dissemination, and use of evidence to strengthen project performance, accountability, learning, and adaptive management. Reporting to the MEL and Evidence Lead, the Specialist manages the project's pipeline of evidence and learning products across all technical areas, ensures donor branding and marking requirements are met, maintains the evidence management platform, and coordinates documentation supporting result verification.
Key Deliverables (Year 1): An evidence product pipeline and calendar covering all technical areas; branded and marked evidence products disseminated to government and partners; evidence management platform populated and organized; quarterly learning reviews facilitated and documented.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health, Monitoring and Evaluation, Knowledge Management, Statistics, Demography, Social Sciences, Health Informatics, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in monitoring, evaluation, learning, knowledge management, research, documentation, or related fields. Experience with multilateral organizations (World Bank, Global Fund, UN agencies) is an advantage. Experience supporting health or development programs in Ethiopia is preferred.
