CBM (registered as CBM Christoffel-Blindenmission Christian Blind Mission e.V.) is an international development organisation committed to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities in the poorest communities of the world. CBM is looking for a working student with a background or interest in public health to support its Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) programmes, starting October 1, 2026. The position is initially limited to 12 months with a maximum of 19.5 hours per week, based at the CBM Office in Bensheim. This position is only filled locally with contractual conditions of the respective country; an expatriation is not intended.
Responsibilities: Support NTD data management; analyse programme data; prepare and author reports on findings; prepare and conduct background research and/or literature reviews on topics identified by the NTD team; prepare and develop programme materials specified by the project work plan; assist in creating technical materials for conferences, meetings and events; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Currently enrolled as a graduate student in a relevant academic programme, preferably in public health, public policy, health care, information management in health care, data science, health economics, or a combination of biological and social science disciplines with an interest in public health; strong affinity for data and analysis; proficiency in MS Office applications; ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written), French skills desired; strong organisational skills and attention to detail; ability to work both independently and in a team; sound judgement; identification with Christian values and the mandate of CBM.
