Climact aims for a sustainable zero-carbon society by 2050, emphasizing global collaboration and systemic change in behaviour, business, and technology. Since 2007, we have empowered governments and organisations to address climate change by providing strategic and regulatory consulting, as well as project development services. We believe that existing solutions can reduce carbon impact, create local jobs, lower costs, and enhance efficiency and renewable energy use. Climact focuses on removing barriers to these solutions, helping clients transition to a more sustainable future.
What we're looking for
We collaborate with freelancers across our areas of expertise (climate strategy, sustainable finance, GHG accounting, decarbonisation pathways, regulatory consulting, project management, data analysis, and more). Profiles we value typically combine:
* Master's or PhD with a strong link to or interest in sustainability and climate change
* Relevant professional experience in consulting, project management, or business development within climate, energy, or sustainability fields
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort in data analysis and modelling tools (Excel/MS Office as a baseline)
* Autonomy and creativity, balanced with strong teamwork and communication skills
* Ability to engage credibly with clients, including at executive level
* Fluency in French or Dutch, and English; experience working internationally (e.g. France, the Netherlands) is an asset
