LOCAL RECRUITMENT NOTICE

ONE (01) COMMUNITY MOBILISE OFFICER

Position based in Antalaha

As part of its activities, Save the Children is recruiting a Community Mobiliser Officer

Main responsibilities of the position:

Placed under the responsibility of the Project Coordinator, its main mission is to:
• Mobilize and educate community leaders and their members about Save the Children's activities on the ground
• Develop training sessions for self-employed workers to enable them to develop their activities
• Mobilize local communities on the NGO's activities
• Serving as a liaison between Save the Children and local communities
• Prepare quality monthly reports

Profile required for the position:
• Holder of a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Communication or equivalent with 2 to 3 years of professional experience in an international organization or a multinational company
• Proficiency in computer tools: Word, Excel
• Ability to communicate well in public and to any type of audience in the community
• Good command of the local dialect and French
• Ability to work under pressure
• Holder of a Driving Licence A
