About Global Greengrants Fund:
Global Greengrants Fund (GGF) supports grassroots activists and civil society organisations around the world working to address environmental and social justice in over 160 countries. GGF applies a participatory and decentralised model in making grants to grassroots groups through regional and thematic boards of advisors, global partner networks, and partner funds to support grassroots environmental and social justice action. Global Greengrants Fund believes solutions to environmental harm and social injustice come from people whose lives are most impacted. Every day, our global network of people on the frontlines and donors comes together to support communities to protect their way of life and our planet. Because when local people have a say in the health of their food, water, and resources, they are forces for change.

Global Greengrants Fund comprises two organisations located in the USA, Global Greengrants Fund Inc. (established in 1993), and Global Greengrants Fund UK (established in 2012). The two organisations work closely together with a shared grantmaking programme and strategic collaboration at the senior leadership level.

In 2026, Global Greengrants Fund is amid a transformative journey in which we collectively centre our values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion and organisational care in our work, and rediscover our identity and potential after 30 years of work. The Interim Database and Gift Processing Coordinator needs to understand the challenges and opportunities that come with these transformations and be able to remain flexible, steady, and adaptable.

Global Greengrants Fund mobilizes resources for a decentralized, Global South-led advisory network and thousands of grassroots partners advancing environmental and climate justice in more than 160 countries. In a challenging funding landscape marked by shrinking civic space and inequitable access to resources, strong internal systems and data practices are essential to ensuring that philanthropic resources are tracked, managed, and directed effectively to movements on the frontlines.

The Role:
Global Greengrants Fund is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who will collaborate across teams and our global network to support the integrity, accessibility, and strategic use of donor data and systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our philanthropic partnerships are supported by accurate data, reliable systems, and responsive processes that enable effective fundraising and stewardship.

This role serves as a critical backbone of the Philanthropic Partnerships function. By maintaining high standards of data integrity, supporting effective use of CRM systems, and ensuring accurate gift processing and reporting, the role enables the team to operate with clarity, accountability, and care. It supports donor stewardship, external communication, and internal decision-making by ensuring that data is accurate, accessible, and meaningful across teams.

The Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will bring experience in database management within a fundraising or development context, including maintaining data integrity, processing gifts, and supporting reporting and analysis. They will have strong technical expertise in CRM systems, ideally Raiser’s Edge (NXT and database), and will be confident managing data systems to support donor engagement and fundraising operations. They will bring a high level of care, precision, and accountability to their work, understanding the importance of data integrity in supporting strong relationships and responsible stewardship of resources. They will be dependable and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and consistency in all aspects of their work.

They will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage complex data processes with accuracy and consistency. They will be comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams, supporting colleagues in using systems effectively and ensuring data is up to date and reliable.
They will bring strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to build queries, generate reports, and translate data into useful insights that support planning and decision-making. They will also have experience supporting gift processing, revenue tracking, and reconciliation processes, working closely with finance and fundraising teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.

They will be proactive problem-solvers, able to troubleshoot system issues and identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and data quality. They will bring strong communication skills and be comfortable supporting colleagues across a virtual, globally distributed team.

They will demonstrate a commitment to Global Greengrants Fund’s mission and values, including a grounding in equity and a recognition of the importance of strong systems in supporting trust-based, movement-led philanthropy.

Relevant lived experiences related to GGF’s work and community would be a distinct advantage. Multiple language skills would be ideal, while English fluency is a must.

The right candidate will understand Global Greengrants Fund’s core values and be committed to the guiding principles and mission of Global Greengrants Fund and ensure they uphold them in the way they take up the responsibilities of the role.
