Oriental Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences is inviting applications for a Senior Researcher position within the project Migration and Us: Mobilities, Refugees and Borders from the Perspective of the Human Sciences. Candidate Profile
Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong academic and research credentials aligned with the project's thematic focus. Essential requirements include:
* PhD in Asian Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, or a relevant humanities discipline
* Proven expertise in field or textual research using original sources
* Established publication record in relevant academic fields
* Proficiency in English for research and publication purposes
* Knowledge of at least one Asian or Middle Eastern language
While knowledge of Czech is not mandatory, a willingness to integrate into the Czech academic environment is valued.
