Position Purpose
 
The purpose of this position is to ensure the reliable and efficient delivery of IT services across the organization. Core responsibilities include supporting all IT Service Desk functions, administering IT systems and networks, and maintaining the end user computing environment at all Bank locations. The role also encompasses coordinating and supporting conference room technologies, as well as deploying computer systems, telephony solutions, and mobile devices.
 
Key Functions and Responsibilities
 
The position reporting to Director, DIT, will be responsible for the following:
 
Deliver high quality IT services and Service Desk support
 
Provide comprehensive IT support to all Bank users by operating the IT Service Desk, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and requests, maintaining service quality, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
 
Support the end user computing environment
 
Install, configure, secure, and maintain all end-user computing devices and standard Bank software to ensure reliable, efficient, and secure operation for all staff.
 
Support systems, cloud, and network administration activities
 
Assist the Senior Officer (Systems and Cloud Administrator) and the Senior Officer (Systems and Network Engineer) in managing user accounts, administering systems and cloud services, and supporting network operations and related infrastructure.
 
Manage IT assets and inventory across Headquarters (HQ) and the Disaster Recovery Site (DRS)
 
Register, track, and maintain accurate inventory records for all IT hardware and software assets in HQ and the DRS, ensuring proper lifecycle management and compliance with internal controls.
 
Ensure reliable operation of meeting and conference room technologies
 
Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual and conferencing systems to support seamless meetings, events, and presentations.
 
Deliver user training and promote effective use of Bank applications
 
Create, develop, and deliver user training on standard Bank applications, as well as provide ongoing guidance to enhance user proficiency and adoption of best practices.

Required Qualifications
 
Education
 
Bachelor’s (first university) degree in computer science, information technology, electronics or a related engineering field; or a bachelor’s degree in another field combined with a master’s or PhD in one of these areas.
 
Experience 
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position supporting a company’s IT operating functions.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP protocol and segmentation.
  • Experience providing IT support to end users’ communities using help desk tools and ticketing systems.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and installing PCs, laptops, printers and scanners in a network-based environment.
  • Experience with network cabling installation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting meeting and conference rooms technologies.
Technical Knowledge 
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems for both servers and desktops.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles.
  • Good Knowledge of hardware: desktop, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices (iPads, iPhones, Android, etc.), and hands-on troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Knowledge of backup software.
  • Knowledge of Virtualization software (VMware or Microsoft hypervisor).
  • Basic understanding of Audio / Visual controls and equipment.
Skills
 
Language Skills: Excellent command of English.
 
Computer Skills:  
  • Excellent working knowledge of M365 package apps.
  • Experience with Microsoft Server 2016 and above and Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Active Directory management.
  • Networking experience with Microsoft DNS and DHCP.
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Exchange 2019/2012 and Microsoft SQL database server.
Desirable Qualifications
 
Experience 
  • Experience with AI tools and AI Service Desk applications.
  • Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft Security for end points, Microsoft MFA and policies setup.
Technical Knowledge 
  • Certification of Microsoft Windows Servers Administrator 2012 or above, and/or Windows 10 certification.
  • Microsoft Networking certification.
  • Microsoft SQL database administration.
  • ITIL v4.0 certification.

       Skills

  • SCCM, Intune.
  • Competent with IT ServiceDesk software (ITIL based is a plus)
