Student Assistant (m/f/d) in the Research Department International Institutions
A student assistant (m/f/d) for 10 hours per week, for a period of half year, starting on 1 May 2026 in accordance with § 6 WissZeitVG in conjunction with § 82 HHG, with an hourly wage of €14,88 without a degree, €16.13 with a bachelor's degree or €16.48 with a master's degree.
The range of tasks includes:
* literature review
* data collection and visualization
* document analysis
* assistance in article submission and conference attendance
* preparing for meetings
Your profile:
* You are enrolled at a German university and are currently pursuing a master's degree in International Politics, International Institutions, Political Science, International Security, Peace and Conflict Studies, Sociology, or relevant fields
* Good command of English (reading, writing, and oral communication)
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently
* Proactive approach and timely communication with the supervisor
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Familiarity with MAXQDA is an asset (or willingness to learn)
* High attention to detail and awareness in fact checking
