Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Mission :
- Your mission will be to contribute to the deployment of the Nutrition and Health component of the program information system (PRIMS) in Action Against Hunger France's country offices, and more specifically to:
- Organize the definition of the nutrition and health component of the PRIMS program information system at a global level; Collect, with the help of the Operational Technical Advisors, existing Nutrition and Health databases;
- Ensure, with the Nutrition and Surveillance Advisor, the work concerning the definition of the nutrition and health standard, using international standards and national criteria from ministries of health or health clusters;
Draft the functional specifications
- ; Contribute to the creation of system configuration packages
- ; Coordinate the definition of standard Nutrition/Health dashboards
- ; Contribute to the development of training materials
- ; Participate in the creation of communication materials for disseminating the PRIMS deployment methodology;
- Participate in the creation of the NHF website for documenting methods and tools in program data management;
- Participate in improving the methods and tools used for the deployment of PRIMS
- ; Implement Implement the PRIMS deployment methodology for the Nutrition and Health component. Participate in the development and updating of the deployment plan.
- Plan the steps, monitor their progress, and report on it to the Program Data Management Expert and the Steering Committee.
- Support change management, lead the development of a communication plan, and contribute to its implementation.
- Present the deployment methodology to the teams (Country Office and Regional Pool).
- Train designated Country Office staff on roles and responsibilities, as well as on the tools and methods they will use.
- Facilitate the organization of PRIMS deployment Steering Committee meetings in a Country Office.
- Participate in Nutrition/Health Project Committee meetings and Nutrition/Health department meetings.
- Ensure that deployment documentation is up-to-date and of high quality.
- Discuss proposed data models with the Program Data Management Expert.
- Present deployment progress at Pool meetings.
Profile :
- Holding a Master's degree in nutrition, public health, epidemiology, health statistics, or a related field, you have demonstrated knowledge of health information systems (HMIS), ideally DHIS2. Additional training in data management, health information systems, or health informatics is an asset.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in nutrition/health within the humanitarian or development sector, including at least some experience in monitoring and evaluation, data management for health/nutrition programs, or technical coordination.
- You have experience in one or more field settings (NGOs, Ministry of Health, UNICEF, etc.) and have participated in projects involving the digitalization of monitoring, mobile data collection, or the harmonization of indicators.
- You are proficient in malnutrition management protocols (CMAM/IMAM), nutritional and maternal/child health indicators, reporting chains, Power BI (or equivalent), Kobo/ODK, CommCare, SurveyCTO, etc. You are comfortable with critical data analysis, anomaly identification, and continuous system improvement.
- You are able to translate the needs of Nutrition/Health teams into specifications for an information system and to support, train, and guide multi-site teams.
- You are fluent in spoken and written English and have advanced Excel skills.
Employment conditions
Status: Integrated Manager - 9-month fixed-term contract - Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 37K to 44K euros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
Benefits: 25 days per year of paid leave and 21 days of RTT
