We are looking for a Finance - Accounting Department Manager.
Job responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Administrative and Financial Director, you will manage the association's accounting activity to ensure data reliability, secure flows and efficient financial processes.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the accounting department composed of two people
- Manage accounting and tax activities, and ensure cash flow management
- Supervise and structure the production of accounting assignments
- Contribute to the harmonization and optimization of internal financial processes and tools
- You will support the Department Heads in their day-to-day work, participate in OHADA projects (finalizing the closing process with Chartered Accountants and Statutory Auditors, assisting the team in charge, and providing feedback on the experience and input from the Statutory Auditors) and SYSTER projects (participating in the implementation of Odoo). You will also contribute to the organization of the International Accounting Department, address international accounting issues, and work on atypical contracts.
Desired profile:
- You hold an accounting degree and have mixed experience (social economy/private) in setting up an accounting tool.
- You are capable of implementing the appropriate level of control over operations within your scope, managing an accounting close, researching and analyzing accounting and financial information, and implementing appropriate solutions.
- You have proven skills in team management and support. You are proficient in using accounting software (Agresso, Saga) and banking software (Turbo, Exabanque).
- You are curious and open-minded.
- Working in an international environment, you are fluent in spoken and written English.
Employment conditions:
Status: Integrated Manager – 8-month fixed-term contract until 31/12/2026 – Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From €47K to €57K gross per year over 13 months, depending on experience
