Backed by 20+ years in multinational corporations and NGOs, having held senior management positions and worked across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the USA, driving impact in diverse industries and complex global environments.

Recently completed a PhD in International Relations at Banaras Hindu University, India, focusing on peacebuilding and conflict resolution. Previously volunteered with Guria Swayam Sevi Sansthan, a grassroots NGO in Varanasi, India, working with disenfranchised women and children. A proven leader with experience in driving organizational change and navigating complex, cross-cultural environments. As chief operating officer (COO) and director of Information Mosaic, an Irish IT company, successfully managed the company through a turnaround situation.

With Sony Thailand developed company’s database marketing, and research and analysis functions.
As a management consultant with KPMG Bahrain, conducted feasibility studies, financial analysis, strategic planning and efficiency reviews for several companies in the Middle East.

As an engineer with General Electric, designed and commissioned complex control systems for steel mills.

Education:

Extensive academic background spanning multiple disciplines, including a PhD in International Relations, an MBA, a Bachelor of Engineering, a Master of International Relations, and a research-based MA. The PhD was completed in India, while other degrees were awarded in Ireland.


PhD in International Relations
Banaras Hindu University, India, 2018 – 2024
Thesis: ‘Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution: Indigenous Traditions and Practices in India.’
This research-intensive degree, conducted in India, included both desk and field research. It examined approaches to peacebuilding among two major groups: members of Indic religions and cultures (including Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism) and those practicing Tribal belief systems.

Master of Arts (Research-based)
University of Limerick, Ireland, 2008 – 2009
Dissertation: ‘The European Union and the Root Causes of Islamist Terrorism.’
A primarily desk-based research project, though also drawing on previous experience of working in the Middle East. This research was funded through the Anna Lindh Fellowship, awarded by Irish Aid.
