I am a carbon markets, climate finance and sustainable finance professional based in Côte d’Ivoire. My academic and professional development has covered carbon finance, environmental finance, GHG accounting, carbon markets, Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, AFOLU/REDD+, climate finance and validation and verification, together with a growing specialization in sustainable finance and nature finance. My areas of interest are at the intersection of carbon markets, climate finance, sustainable finance, nature finance and ESG. On the carbon markets and climate finance side, I would be particularly interested in contributing to assignments involving Article 6.2 and Article 6.4 readiness and implementation; national carbon market strategies and institutional frameworks; NDC alignment; authorization processes; ITMO transactions and corresponding adjustments; carbon market registries and infrastructure; carbon taxation; carbon project feasibility and pre feasibility assessments; carbon project development and certification; REDD+ and jurisdictional REDD+; forest carbon and FREL/FRL related work; carbon finance; climate finance programmes; GCF and REDD+ Results Based Payment initiatives; investment pipelines; and transaction readiness. I am equally interested in developing practical consulting experience across the broader sustainable finance landscape, particularly in sustainable finance taxonomies, green finance, environmental finance, social finance, sustainability linked finance; Green, Social and Sustainability Bonds; ESG, biodiversity finance, finance plans for nature, and other sustainability oriented financing approaches. In this regard, I am especially interested in how financial instruments and frameworks are applied in practice in emerging and developing markets for example, through sustainable finance strategies and taxonomies, green/social/sustainability bond frameworks, sustainability linked financing structures, climate and nature investment strategies, biodiversity finance plans, ESG assessments, project pipelines, financial analysis, investment mobilization and the development of bankable climate and nature positive initiatives. I would also welcome opportunities to contribute to stakeholder mapping and consultations; engagement with governments, financial institutions, development partners, investors, communities and private sector actors; technical research and analysis; financial and market assessments; concept notes; policy briefs; funding proposals; technical reports; and other project documentation.
