Professional Experience:

Professionally, I have gained practical experience in international organizations such as the UN. At the United Nations, I am currently interning in the Department of Political Affairs, focusing on critical issues such as women, peace, and security, counter-terrorism, and youth engagement. My previous role at the Embassy of Albania in the United States also provided me with critical exposure to the diplomatic world. Working alongside diplomats and international stakeholders, I helped to promote Albania’s interests while reinforcing democratic values and advancing international cooperation. In addition to my work in international affairs, I have experience in the financial field and consultancy, having worked with Save the Children on strategic initiatives that support humanitarian and development efforts.

Education:

I hold a bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Affairs and am currently pursuing a master's degree at New York University, concentrating in International Law and Human Rights. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in global politics, international legal frameworks, and human rights advocacy.

Through courses such as International Law, Justice and Human Rights, Peacemaking and Peacebuilding, Transitional Justice in Theory, Conflict Assessment, and Applied Peacebuilding, I have developed analytical and practical skills essential for understanding complex legal and political challenges. These studies have equipped me with the ability to assess conflicts, evaluate legal frameworks, and design effective peacebuilding initiatives. Through my education I have strengthened my ability to navigate legal systems and contribute to solutions that promote justice and stability.
