Amare has a cumulative work experience of more than 12 years in different organizations including United Nation Office and International NGO.

For the last 7 years, Amare has been working for UNOPS in different countries and capacities such as Procurement & Logistics officer, Procurement Specialist, Senior Procurement Officer and Procurement officer. Before joining UNOPS, He was working as Procurement Manager in World Vision Ethiopia country office.

He is excellent in carrying out various categories of procurement such as infrastructure, Services and Goods that includes procurement of Pharmaceutical and medical items. He is well familiar with procurement principles, steps, processes, procedures and systems in international settings.

He is skilled in coordinating and facilitating workshops, providing technical advice, and capacity building training in Logistics, procurement and Supply Chain areas to the procurement & logistics team.

Education:

He has a Master's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management in 2017, from Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia . He also has a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy from Jimma University , Jimma , Ethiopia
