International Relations/ Communications/ Public & Non-profit Management professional. After a decade in int'l higher education leadership roles, seeking a new direction in meaningful international relations/ humanitarian/ relief work. Can relocate after Aug. 15, 2017. Eager to learn new language skills; have some very basic French (2 yrs in H.S.) and "travel survival" skills in others.
Areas of expertise include: international relations; project management; team leadership; public and non-profit management; training; communications and marketing; operations and logistics; design for print and digital media; writing and editing. Years of volunteering and international travel experiences have cultivated a desire to apply my skills, talents and experience, full-time, to meaningful humanitarian or relief work. I have pursued my Master's in Administration-Public Management--focusing the majority of my research on the global refugee crisis and providing aid with empowerment--in hopes of discovering and opening doors to new career opportunities and challenges.
