Professional Experience:

o o experience of more than three decades of working as humanitarian and development professional leading and involvement in the management of protracted and complex crisis in Afghanistan and South Asian countries including Emergency Appeals and DREF.
o More than 20 years’ experience of working at senior leadership and coordination role with different national and international organizations for different emergencies and crisis.
o Diverse expertise in the areas of coordination, project management, NSD, youth and volunteer management, disaster management, Resource mobilization, internal control and finance management.
o Proven experience of advocacy and humanitarian diplomacy skills along with representation skills.
o Having regional and international experience through participation of 91 training/ meeting/ high level consultation in 20 countries around the globe (more than 450 days).

A. Individual and Institutional Capacity building skills
I have been involved in local capacity building since last 20 years as trainer, facilitator, coach, and Master trainer in the areas of, Emergency health, mental health, counselling, emergency response, disaster risk reduction, first aid, CEA, PGI, PMER, proposal writing, advocacy, OD and resource mobilization. I will transfer these skills and best practices to build capacity of national society and other partners.
B. Best Practices and experiences of representations, multisector coordination, and resource mobilization:
Working for more than 15 years at senior and top leadership position, I was expected to represent the organization and the thematic areas at national, regional, and global meeting including humanitarian clusters, technical working group and taskforces. I have served stewardship role in different organization board and was responsible to ensure effective coordination and coordinate project and program implementation with wide range of stakeholders at national and regional levels. I will utilize the gained skills on effective coordination if selected for the proposed position.


C. Mobilization of resources, including coordination, cooperation, and collaboration with partners:
Grant and contract management including donor reporting were my main part of responsibilities since 1997 which enhance my understanding of donor requirement, reporting formats, importance compliance with grant contract terms and conditions. USAID, DFID, World Bank, Bills and Malinda Gates Foundation, JICA, BMZ, DANIDA, DFATD, UNODC, UNICEF, WHO, UNICEF and Asian Development Bank were main donors of our projects. I was extensive involved in development of the proposal and budget for humanitarian sectors such as ECHO, AHF, and others.
