Professional Experience:

Currently I am working as an Internal Auditor at African Union Commission, Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). My duties include assessing, reviewing and evaluating African Union’s (AU) operations with the objective of identifying opportunities for improvement, reducing waste and, and reporting fraudulent activities. Prior I Worked for Alios Finance Zambia and City Breweries as the Chief Accountant/Head of Accounting and Administration for more than 5 years. Was heading the Accounting, Finance and Administration divisions. I also spent 5 years at Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) as the tax inspector (auditor). Prior to joining ZRA I worked at MJM Associates as an external auditor and Consultant.

Education:

I have excellent professional and academic qualifications. I am a certified Accountant (FCCA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and Certified Data Analyst (ACDA). I also have two master degrees in International Finance (MSc) and Business Administrations (MBA) in additional to a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Finance (BSc). Other qualifications include; Diploma in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS); Diploma – Performance Audit; SAP Certified Application Associate – Financial Accounting (FICO) and SAP Certified Application Associate – Human Capital Management (HCM)

Affiliations and Achievements:

I was pivot in establishment of institutional controls and systems and raising $3 million for working Capital at Alios Finance Zambia.
