Professional Experience:

Over the past 2 years, I have built a technical policy and program management portfolio in the European Commission; mainly in DG DEVCO (EuropeAid), with additional assignments in DG GROW (Single Market).

Previously, I have worked for the Climate Finance team at Transparency International, and for a DFID-funded program on rural innovation for climate change mitigation and adpatation with NGO, Progressio.

Education:

SOAS Advanced Chinese Studies master, currently pursuing a part-time diploma in Economics with the LSE.

Specialism in China-Africa relations (Chinese FDI, OBOR). For my master's dissertation, I conducted primary research into the local effects of Chinese construction companies in Lilongwe, Malawi.

Undergraduate in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese from Newcastle University, UK.
