• Country Management: Assigned as Acting Country Representative / Head of Mission for the SAMS Iraq Office, overseeing all in-country responsibilities including master budget and operational plan development, resource allocation, funding proposal development, and donor/stakeholder relations—working closely with private donors, INGOs, and government leaders on strategic initiatives aimed at accomplishing humanitarian, sustainability, and development objectives.
• Change Management & Organizational Development: Assigned as Acting Country Representative for the SAMS Jordan Office during a key transitional period, developing the 2023 operational plan and related budget, finalizing staff annual performance evaluations and workload analysis, and establishing a task force to recommend creative solutions to improve warehouse efficiency. Additionally, supervised proposal development and submission efforts aimed at expanding the organization's network of donors and increasing funding capacity and sustainability.
• Policy & Procedure Development: Extensive experience creating SOPs and operational structure for organizations, including conducting roll-out training sessions across SAMS Middle East field offices in Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq and conducting follow up visits to ensure policy adherence and implement corrective action, when needed.
• Program Measurement & Evaluation: Proven success measuring ongoing program performance to ensure adherence with highly specific donor/grant requirements, recalibrating operational performance and tasks, as needed, to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and meet/exceed all targeted KPI metrics.
• Fundraising & Donor Relations: Experience building positive relations with a wide network of donor organizations, strategic stakeholder groups, and government officials—including serving as the key point of contact for all SAMS country offices (Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq) and negotiating all procurement contracts and performance terms.
