Professional Experience:

Currently I am leading six departments under the Business, Partnership and Impact portfolio of Plan International (Business Development, Partnership, Program quality (MERL), Youth Leadership program, SRHR program and Youth Economic Empowerment program). As the program development lead I also bring significant experience in Early Childhood Development program, Gender Transformative program, Education Program, Education in Emergencies, Child Protection in Emergencies, Livelihood development program in fragile context. I have extensive experience of leading multi diverse strategic team members through value-based leadership rooted with feminist principles. Along with my current role, for last 14 years I had actively designed and implemented large scale programs and projects which provides me with adequate knowledge and skills on program and project cycle management, budgeting, theory of change, result framework and result based monitoring system development. One of the largest projects I had led and develop was with Plan International with a funding volume of 14 million euros funded by Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

I also bring technical expertise on Girls and Women Economic Justice, Gender Equality, Crisis and Emergency response and Climate Justice Programing. Being a Canadian Citizen I had worked with the Ontario’s Ministry of Health and the Lead Agency for Children and Youth Mental Health, Strides Toronto and had successfully developed the seamless access to mental health services for children and youth in Toronto which is now being implemented through Help Ahead.

Education:

A Social Science (MSS) graduate with a Major in International Relations.
