Professional Experience:
Dr. Richardson is a skilled analyst and practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in the field of education at multiple levels.
Through professional positions at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, Georgetown University, and the University of Delaware, Richardson developed expertise in interpreting multidisciplinary research and translating it for practical application in professional development, adult learning, and policy. She worked with administration, faculty, researchers, and students toward the improvement of teaching in higher education. She developed and led workshops and conferences on teaching, assessment, and diversity and inclusion. She also served on committees to create and set policies.
As a director of an undergraduate program at Stanford University and a center for teaching and learning at the University of Delaware, Richardson strategized, created, led, and assessed research, training, and outreach initiatives.
In every setting - including classroom instruction - Richardson constructively contributed to teams and mentored less experienced professionals. She used appropriate, innovative technology as appropriate for organization and service-delivery.
Richardson is a skilled qualitative researcher who has developed tools for understanding and assessing classroom practice. She currently develops tools and analyzes data for an educational research organization.
