I am a Senior Management Executive with over 16 years of experience. My core expertise and functions lie within; General Management, Sales and Distribution Management, Account Management, New Business Development, Devices Management, Stakeholder Management, Supply Chain, Value Chain Management and People Management.
I have been involved in driving revenue streams of up to $100M per year in East Africa for leading Telecommunications and Technology Companies. My exposure has also been in leading multiple teams of Senior Managers, sales representatives, Telecommunications and IT distribution partners in B2B and mass market channels to boost unit sales, revenue growth and new subscribers. I have been involved in directing historic launches in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Nigeria. My core strengths and capabilities include my adaptability to change, my ability to understand a market and orchestrate business opportunities with multiple partners and stakeholders, C-Level presentation and engagement capabilities as well as my situational leadership skills and people management capabilities. My particular accomplishments include opening up a Pan Africa customer opportunity and launching across 4 major countries in Africa, achieving zero to 4% smartphone brand market share in 4 months, managing MNC accounts enabling the sale of 150Ku smartphones in 3 months, developing and implementing distribution strategy for Telco’s by appointing 200 new dealers, increasing brand visibility and outlet penetration by 132% and numerical distribution by 200% through effective route management leading to growth in airtime revenue, mobile subscribers and MPesa users.
