Summary:
As Senior Procurement Specialist Hub Coordinator for three countries while supporting at the same time my manager on works related to other French speaking countries, the main tasks and responsibilities consisted in:
• Reviewing the procurement documents for high value and complex contracts
• Participating in quality control meetings
• Guiding and advising internal and external clients on ways to speed up procurement process and contract award so as ensure the target annual disbursement rate is met
• Helping the supported countries in the process to improve their own procurement systems
• Helping the CO procurement specialists under my supervision in tasks that need clear guidance or advice from the management

Relevant Experience
• World Bank procurement rules and regulations including the NPF (New Procurement Framework) since I have participated in any meetings and discussions before and after its implementation
• How to accelerate procurement process until contract award and help the client in the contracts management so that the project objectives are not compromised
• Coaching and training junior procurement staff and external client personal
• Assessment of national procurement systems and identification of areas of improvement; this includes PEFA exercises in the two Congos, Benin and Cameroun where my role consisted in drafting the procurement part of the TORs, participating in meetings prior to the consultant mission and reviewing the consultant report and recommendation
Additionnsly my civil engineer background gives great opportunities to support teams workings on high value contracts on their procurement issues that include mainly the procurement process until contract award and the management of the related contracts
Past and recent experience includes works on complex procurement matters in the energy sector ( EPC )
