I am an agriculture and rural livelihoods expert with skills in agriculture program design and management, market led agribusiness development, and food security program administration. I have over 29 years of experience in designing and implementing USAID, USDA, and private sector agriculture programs in Africa.
My experience includes the development of sustainable farmer associations and cooperatives. I have also served long-term, team assignments in West and South Africa with emphasis on population settlement and sustainable business development, PL 480 monetization food security programs, and the design and implementation of micro-business loans programs with informal and commercial credit institutions. I have experience in horticulture value chain analysis, marketing of organic crops, and sustainable land use. I speak fluent English, French, Portuguese, and Bambara (Mali)
