Conflict Resolution, Democracy, Governance and Civil Society Expert with broad experience in creating and managing innovative programs to address complex local and regional problems.
- Marginalized community capacity building, civil society development, alternative dispute resolution, and vulnerable population protection programs. Conflict analysis and resolution, human rights and sociology professor. Juvenile justice trainer.
- Project technical assistance for USDOL exploitive child labor programs in Latin America, including program design, monitoring and evaluation, and closeout. Child soldier specialist.
- Program management with universities, NGOs and government organizations. Supervised up to 30 staff operating out of 15 separate locations. USAID and USDOL project experience.
- International experience in Turkey, Myanmar, Colombia, Panama, Mexico, Guyana, Sri Lanka, Jordan, and Cambodia. Fluency in Spanish. Lived and worked in Colombia from 1995 to 2002.
