Education:
Mr. Pantaleon Shoki is a graduate in economics. He has attended a wide range of postgraduate training opportunities including social sector analysis, an initiative of the World Bank under its IDF grant. The purpose of the program was to build the analytical capacity of Tanzania nationals. As a Social Sector Analyst, he has obtained good experience in research design and management as well as in data analysis and presentations using different soft wares such as STATA, SPSS, Ms-Excel,Ms-Word, Ms-Access, Ms-PowerPoint, and Ms-Project
In 1991 up to 1994, Mr. Shoki pursued a Bachelors degree in Economics under the faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of the University of Dar Es Salaam.
In 1997, Mr. Shoki attended a training organized by the World Bank in Social Sector Analysis at the University of Dar Es Salaam. He learnt different statistical packages for data analysis such as STATA. The other covered modules were statistics, econometrics, microeconomics of household behaviors, economics of education in developing countries, construction of poverty profile, water, sanitation and contingent valuation techniques, health, and participatory rapid appraisal methods.
In 1999, Mr. Shoki attended an Advanced Training in Proposal, Reporting and Evaluation to meet international qualifications in the field of consultant.
From September 2003 to September 2005, Mr. Shoki pursued a Masters of Science in Community Economic Development, a program that was provided by the Open University of Tanzania in collaboration with the Southern New Hampshire University (USA).
In 2008, Mr. Shoki has also attended a communication for Advocacy Course at -Ms-TCDC Arusha Tanzania.
Mr. Shoki is currently pursuing a Masters program in Monitoring and Evaluation at the Open University of Tanzania.
