Through work in Germany, the UK and Ireland I have experienced the strengths and weaknesses of different health systems. I have delivered healthcare in diverging local settings like rural Bavaria or areas of social deprivation in Dublin.
I have gained expertise in the treatment of vulnerable groups like children, pregnant women, chronically ill, multi-morbid and geriatric patients.


Public Health Consultant for the German International Cooperation (GIZ), Cameroon, January - February 2011:

I assessed the fever diagnostic capacities of the Regional Hospitals of Limbe and Bamenda and their surrounding health centres. The consultancy consisted of a literature review, in-depth interviews with key informants and the data collection in designated health facilities (direct observation, interviews and focus groups with staff/ patients). The report included clinical advice, policy recommendations and the outline of a training/research project.
