Professional Experience:
During my bachelor studies I gave private English classes for children and adults and worked as an interpreter and a translator at a Russian-Dutch real estate joint venture.
Then worked in a Japanese shipping company moving from an assisting to a managerial position in a warehousing division within 4 years.
Following a sabbatical and a financial crisis of 1998 in Russia, I switched to humanitarian activity, first working at a soup kitchen and creating a literacy and drawing classes programme for homeless children, then was invited to work on a foster project in the International Women's Club of Moscow, and continued with fundraising projects in the same club after moving to Stockholm.
In Geneva area, before my Master's studies I organised events, edited newsletters, taught English and raised funds in various associations and non-profits.
After my studies, over a period of 4 years, I worked on short-term contracts as an intern, consultant and officer at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies assisting in strategy development, reporting system development, federation-wide databank development and national society rating system development.
Worked for a year at a human rights NGO presenting and promoting a potential resolution on the right to health within the Geneva NGO community, also lobbying World Health Assembly Member States.
Since March 2012 created my own enterprise in communications and project management, working with Russian speaking individuals from former Soviet Union and companies working with Russia, building and managing client relations, setting up databases, and providing relocation advice and help with documentation.
