Professional Experience:
I am a public health, management, marketing and research professional with over 20 years of experience. Country Director with Population Services International (PSI) in Rwandan (October 2010 to date), PSI Country Director in Namibia (October 2007 to September 2010), Deputy Managing Director with Society for Family Health (SFH) Nigeria (2005 to 2007), General Manager Social Marketing of health products and services with SFH Nigeria (2002 – 2004), Head of Department Research, Monitoring and Evaluation (1996 – 2002), Research and Communications Coordinator (1993 – 1996). I have considerable experience in HIV prevention and care, reproductive and sexual health programming including research, program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. My Core competencies are in proposal writing, human resources management, capacity building, financial management, new business development, institutional development, government and donor relations, research including analysis using SPSS, and evaluation. I am also grounded in behavior change theories and models and have had opportunities to apply some of them in my work.
