1988 – Ph.D. in the Social Sciences, Free University of Amsterdam.
Dissertation: “Management Training for Small-Scale Entrepreneurs in the Context of a Developing Country.” Includes nation-wide assessment of socio-economic, cultural, and political issues.
1977-1980- Doktoraal (with honours), Labour and Organizational Psychology & Development, Minor in Development Economics, Free University of Amsterdam.
1973-1977- Bachelor of Science (Magna Cum Laude) in Psychology with Minors in Sociology and Anthropology, State University of New York
