Professional Experience:
Tushita brings 10+ years of experience in the private and non-profit sector with experience in programme management, partnership building, strategy, communications and branding, and research-based writing.
Currently, she is involved with PwC’s CSR activities through its Foundation and related communications. She is leading the conceptualisation and implementation of programmes in the areas of children, sanitation, social entrepreneurship and disaster response. She led the global flagship programme—Urban Child report in collaboration with Save the Children, India. She has co authored the report titled- ‘Forgotten voices: the world of urban children in India’.
In GIZ, she was responsible for successfully setting up the communications department and independently managed its communication activities. She led internal communication initiatives, advised and supported program communication, and is responsible for content development. Tushita is a GIZ-certified evaluator and has evaluated several projects in India and Bangladesh.
As a Research Associate in TERI, she introduced new channels of communication like organising media dialogue, environment seminars, writing feature stories, among others. She has conceived and successfully implemented communication projects for UNICEF, UNEP and UNDP.
